So Proud!!!

The Utah Society for Respiratory Care has had the following logo for a VERY long time:

Apparently they had a contest for people to enter their designs for the new logo. Guess who won!!!

This is Rob's actual logo. I'm so proud! (And it saved us from having to pay our AARC membership dues for the year - WAHOO!)

WAY TO GO, HONEY!

Happy Dog!

One of Buddy's FAVORITE things to do is run & play ball at Grandma & Grandpa's house! What a handsome boy!

Looking Back at Last Summer's Vegas Trip...

Here are a few of the highlights from last year's Las Vegas trip:

The Stratosphere upgraded our room, so we got to stay in a suite almost the size of our house. It had an amazing bathroom!!! Simple minds, simple pleasures. We loved our room!

I have a thing for flowers...the Bellagio has exquisite floral displays. (If you can't get the drift from this post, the Bellagio is my favorite place in Vegas!)

The ceiling in the lobby of the Bellagio is home to 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers!

Mmmmm...pastries...at the Jean-Philippe Patisserie (inside the Bellagio). Rob & I split little cheesecake treat - YUM!!!

Part of the chocolate fountain - also at the Jean-Philippe Patisserie.

The Paris is across the street from the Bellagio. This shot was from there. The next was from the car window at night.

We also went to the top of the Eiffel Tower. This is part of the view. We only got a few pictures because I was pretty queezy - which is pathetic since I'm the one without the problem with heights!!! While your standing up there, you can feel the tower sway in the wind. YUCK!!! That did icky things to my stomach!

Looking Forward to an Awesome Summer!!!

In the past, we haven't done a whole lot of vacationing - no time, no money, etc. What we haven't done in the past will be made up for this summer!

To start off, Rob is going to Cedar City for several days with a couple of friends from school. He's pretty excited for the Road Trip, but really they'll be at Southern Utah University doing some type of presentation as part of their Bachelor's project. (Really, I think Weber's trying to recruit for the Respiratory Therapy Program).

Literally days after his return, we'll be staying in Logan for our anniversary. How much fun is that! It may not sound too exciting to you, but we're pretty pumped. We are staying a couple of nights at the Crystal Inn, and another couple at the Anniversary Inn.

Then, we'll be back for a few weeks before we're off to...VEGAS!!! Auntie Stella (JoAnn's best friend who we are now considering an Aunt) gave us a 2-night stay at Caesar's Palace!!! How nice is that?!?!?! In looking into things, we've stepped it up a notch and booked 2 additional nights at the Monte Carlo. Even better, we'll be in Vegas for the 4th of July - our room overlooking the strip, I might add. I've heard great things about the fireworks in Vegas, so here's hoping they're all true!

That should about wrap up the summer...other than my annual family reunion in Malad (or Idaho Falls, if The Parents sell their house beforehand). Rob also has his annual fathers-and-sons fishing trip to Lake Lyman. Buddy is definitely going to feel abandoned this year! Poor puppy!!!

New Cards!

JoAnn & I started taking the monthly Creative Card Classes with Sue Neal (from PaperCrafts Magazine). She's amazing!!! We're learning a lot, but more importantly, having a great time! here are the cards we made in April's class.
