The most lovely things about living in Arizona is the mild winters and warm springs. Unfortunately, it then turns to brain-boiling Summer and we all sit around missing the cooler temperatures.
One of our favorite things to do this "Spring" was to go for walks. Often these walks would take us to one park or another, where Matthew would end up taking a dirt bath. So fun!
If you're thinking this sweater looks a little girly, you're right! Lol! My visiting teachers met me at the park for April's visit and it turned out to be a bit chilly. Matt & I had walked, so we called the others to warn them. Luckily, they both have kiddos about the same age as Matt, and Erin brought a sweater so he didn't freeze to death. Fortunately, he didn't seem to mind at all...and his whining immediately stopped once he stopped turning blue. :)
Matthew LOVES other kids and therefore had a great time going to the bigger park that has a whole bunch of playground equipment. He's not as much into the interacting, as he is the observing. Between dirt baths, you can find him with big grins while the bigger kids run around...or if he sees a bird. That kid sure loves birds.
Do you suppose this is more comfortable than riding in the actual seat of the stroller? Strange.
I couldn't resist this shot. I specifically took it to send to his Dad at school. Lol!
Matt and I aren't the only ones who enjoyed all our walks. Buddy possibly loved them more than either of us. In Utah, Buddy got to sit on the front porch a lot, but here it's not a possibility. Poor guy!
