Well, another birthday has come and gone. Yes, Melissa, this makes me an even number again ;P
Isn't it strange how as a child you get SO psyched up for your birthday that you're asking your Mom for weeks in advance, "Is it my birthday yet?", then as an adult it becomes so much more of a regular day? I did, however have wonderful friends and family who made the day special with gifts and laughs and warm wishes - thanks to all!
In the end, I don't feel any differently. Not any older or closer to death. I'm passed the point of earning special priviledges like later curfews, etc. (though I did have to renew my driver's license this year - NIGHTMARE!!!) - until 55...isn't that when you start getting senior citizen discounts?
I guess my wish for this year is to have more time with my hubby. He'll graduate this Spring and I can't wait!!! I look forward to more time with my family and living more healthily - mind & body!
Happy Birthday to me!
